It's so much fun to finally "meet" someone from the forum!
If you haven't seen it yet, Kelly Gilchrist of McCurdy Elementary School is now a featured teacher on Promethean Planet!

Kelly's lesson is about Perimeter with Division but I have made some notes about interesting things I saw in the video.
The lesson really brings real life applications to the concept of perimeter!
Kelly obviously is a great lesson designer in many ways but I particularly noted that her flipchart graphics are really superb and colorful!
She has certainly mastered the use of "containers!"
You can see how she and her students use the Activwand and the Activotes.
Also, note that Kelly is using a magic "cup" at the beginning of the lesson to "call on" students.You will see examples of "calling on students" pages that do that in the Classroom Management Resource Pack.
