WM - Welcome to the Forum!
Two places that you should go to.
www.prometheanlearning.com is a great place to go to get training on the Activstudio software.
Also, check out the Flipchart Fundamentals on the front page of Planet. Some very good helpful tips there.
Enjoy!

Here's an abstract of Promethean websites that are super helpful for new and current users. :D I always tell teachers I work with that if you use the Planet, you'll always have answers to your problems (99.5% of the time) and you will learn, learn, learn how to make teaching easier with the ActivBoard, Votes, etc. :)

Yes, do try the new Flipchart Fundamentals section of the US Planet as Scott suggested. It includes step by step advice to becoming proficient in an Activclassroom!

this is so much fun. I cannot wait to explore more areas of this program:)
Fun is definitely where it's at, and that's why it works so well in the classroom. Just be careful - it can take over your life! ;)

Hi, I have found that you can search for flipcharts that correlate to the Nevada state standards by going to Prometheanplanet.com-log in and choose resources. Hope that helps! :)
Hi there!
I'm also struggling to find tutorials and videos which might help me deal with this wonderful stuff. Make sure you check atomiclearning.com...they've got lot of video tutorials...
I've been using the board for 2 months here in Brazil. I'm an Efl teacher.
Best Regards

Please do try the tutorials/courses on Promethean Learning.
www.prometheanlearning.com
The first course Fundamentals is FREE!
In addition to them being "tutorials," they are very interactive so you have to DO what the tutorial video asks which is more interesting, I think, than just watching.
PLUS, there are assessments of understanding throughout the course.
And, if you pass, you get a nice Certificate of completion!

Level 2 course
I have been creating flipcharts for the last 20 months or so and presented at the National IWB Conference here in Australia this year.
I am interested in doing the Level 2 course next year. Do I really have to do the Foundation Skills and Advanced Skill course before I can enrol in the Level 2 course?
Cheers
