Molly and the Pirates

Hello all.

We've just published an article on Planet (see the link on the home page) promoting the new Molly & the Pirates resources that have just been released.

Promethean have worked with BT Education to design a series of flipcharts and a resource pack based on the comic book of Molly and her pirate adventures.

The resource pack is FAB and the flipcharts are SUPER so have a read of the article (http://www.prometheanplanet.com/uk/server/show/ConWebDoc.4643) and be sure to download the resource (http://www.prometheanplanet.com/uk/server/show/nav.2714) pack. The flipcharts are all educationally relevant and include opportunities for voting, with some lovely illustrations.

If you download "Molly" and find it would be useful for the American audience, let me know and I can post it on the US site as a resource pack. I just wasn't sure that these comics were available or known in the US.

I found and downloaded the resource pack (brilliant!) but can't find the flipcharts anywhere? Are they available now?

Hello JanP.

As part of the relationship with BT in producing the Molly and the Pirate series, the flipcharts are only available to download on the BT Better World website. (http://www.btbetterworld.com/developing_skills/free_resources/molly_the_pirate)

However, there is a slight delay on BT's part in publishing them, but we are expecting them to be live within the next week. The resource pack can still be downloaded from Planet.

Once the flipcharts are live on the BT site I will post a message to let people know - they are very good and worth waiting for!

Just a quick update on those of you waiting for the Molly and the Pirate flipcharts - you can now download the installer from Planet to access the materials.

The installer is within a ZIP file; to download it, the link is within the Molly and the Pirate featured news article (http://www.prometheanplanet.com/uk/server/show/ConWebDoc.4643).

Don't forget that the resource pack is also available to download.
