What is the concept map in V3.5 for?

I notice that there are a lot of new icon in V.3.5. But I wonder what is the concept map for?

Can anyone share a light?

It's to do with the forthcoming Activarena i.e.using multiple pens.

It will allow two pupils, each with a pen, to simultaneously hand write ideas onto a flipchart page. These then automatically convert to text boxes which can then be easily linked to form a concept map.
