You would need to create a container for this correct object. I would do a search for the word "container" in this forum and you should likely find your answer there.
Another way to find out about containers is in the Activtips section of Promethean planet (US Planet). (Scroll down until you see the video about Containers.)
See: http://www.Prometheanplanet.com/us/server/show/nav.1252
Finally, there is Promethean Learning, a site where you can take courses about Activstudio and Activprimary. I believe the Activstudio Level 1 Advanced course covers this topic (and many more). There is a small fee for this course.

Hope this helps!

Hello Lisa
I've been playing around with containers and reward sounds. The attached flipchart page works fine on my laptop, but I can't get it to work on the school pc. Both have V3 with all updates. I've checked that Studio Settings are comparable.
Any idea why my words and containers behave according to plan on one computer but not on another?
(Btw, for non-specialists - and I wasn't until I spent several hours on this flp! - the order is bl, fr, gn, fl, li, bo, ha, lo, da, fi.)
Thanks for any feedback on what may be wrong with my settings.

Could you possibly be working in Design mode on one of the computers? Just a thought. I don't think that the containers work unless you are in presentation mode.

No! I'm in presentation mode at school, that's a lesson I learned the hard way when V3 was first released! And I've checked with our network manager, but he doesn't use AS, so he can't help explain what may be different about the school's version of the software.
Did the words & sounds work correctly on your computer?

Ok, I've downloaded your flipchart and it didn't work at first on my computer either.
It COULD be because the text field and the "line" are overlapping the container field confusing the object on which item it think you are moving it into.
Once I made the container a little bigger, it seemed to work.
You have three things:
text field label: 1st, second, third
Line: annotation
container box: same color as the background
Perhaps instead of the line, you could make the container box outlined and extra big and make sure that the text field next to it is not overlapping.
Or you can make the number 5th and the box next to it a single graphic with the camera tool and make it the container so that if the fonts change from machine to machine, it won't matter because the text is now a graphic.

Lisa, thank you for all those comments. I'm still not sure why the page works fully on my laptop, but not on the school computer, but your suggestions make a lot of sense. I like the idea of outlining the box instead of underlining it - that was the only way I could think of to direct the pupil to the 'container', but your idea has less clutter on the page.
I'll try out your suggestions on Friday, and will let you know. Thanks again!
