skipping to new flipchart page

Sometimes when I am presenting in ActivPrimary it will just skip to a blank page. If I press the undo button, it will go back to the page I was working on. Any ideas on what causes this? Is it a setting that I need to change?Thanks

Hello esmmiller and welcome to the forum,

The undo and redo button is to reset (UNDO) or forward (REDO) to the last action you have done in activprimary. :cool:
This means a click on undo, resets the last action you have done. You can do this until you went back to the first action you have done in activprimary.
To get a new page just click on the right arrow. If you want a new page between two other pages, just right click >then insert new page before/after the current page.

I have a feeling you might be experiencing a bug that used to happen. This is when you click somewhere on the board and it instantly goes blank - not to a new page - and pressing undo got it to reappear. Make sure you've downloaded the latest version of the software and see if that helps. Let us know if it does/doesn't! ;)

I have been using ActivPrimary version 1 all the way up until now! Don't laugh :p

Anyway ActivPrimary 1 always worked without fault but after upgrading everything to the latest version last night I came across this exact same problem today. As soon as one of the kids tried to draw a line on one of my flipcharts it went blank (I then got it all back by clicking undo).

It didn't do it again though and has worked flawlessly in every other way. If it happens again and I find a solution I'll post up here :-)

Well, going to the promethean website isn't really something that tends to stick out as a high priority to do. I like many others I would imagine just thought thats the software that comes with the whiteboard and thats that.

It just occured to me one day recently that there might be some good software, tips or tricks on here so I had a quick look. I found much more than I expected, updated software, forums!

Quite a big jump to go from 1 to 3, much much better though, I use my interactive whiteboard all the time!

I found this older post but it describes my problem. I do have the latest version of active primary installed on my pc. When writing on the board it constantly goes blank. If I page forward and back the writing will show up again. Over time it continues to get worse. During continuous use it goes blank about once per sentence. The kids and I have gotten very good and quick at dealing with the problem but would like to get it working correctly. Any ideas? :confused:

Do you have the latest firmware? Check you have the latest firmware and driver. Let us know if that helps!
