Has anyone managed to find a way to link Textease documents into ActivPrimary? Can obviously do this with Word etc but would like to use Textease to show children's work.

+wave+Hi Carol
Welcome to the Forum+wave+
Have you tried linking to Textease by using the Browser in AP.
Copy the path which leads to the Textease file ie mydocs>Lit>***** etc
Click on the Prom Man within AP and you will see the "globe" which is the browser. Paste the path in and see where it leads to. If it is successful click on the chain and drop down a link onto the page.
Can't test it as I don't have Textease. BUT this may work:confused::confused:

Hi Carol
Welcome.
If you're in Design Mode right click and choose Insert Link Object > Other File Link and browse to the Textease file. This ought to work too although the file will probably open the Textease program too.

Hi Carol,
The only way you will be able to do that is to record your voice using the sound recorder in AP. I don't know Textease, but if it doesn't work when linking through the browser, or right clicking and embedding it on the page, but it must be the way in which AP talks (or not) to Textease.
If I can just add there is a danger that "features" that work within a program which are brilliant for stand alone activities aren't always suitable for the iwb environment where interaction is key, rather than necessarily point and click....
However, it may be that I am misunderstanding the particular function/feature to which you refer. +wave+
