Hi there,

Can someone let me know how you can write over video footage. Is there anything special to be done?

Hi Joe
It would depend how you were viewing the video.

If the video is long and displays on your desktop when it plays (e.g. a DVD, then you can use the Annotate Over Desktop function. There are two options to this: Annotate over Live Desktop but you can't save, or Desktop flipchart which creates an image of the desktop as a flipchart page and the resulting flipchart can be saved.

If the clips are short, then create a link from your flipchart page and the video will play in a small window on your page. You can use the camera tool to snapshot scenes and write about them on the page. Or you could use a video place holder which plays the video on the page. WMA files will only ever play on the desktop.
