Moving backgrounds

This is my first post so I hope I am not duplicating a previous question.

I have downloaded some planet backgrounds and I put them in "my backgrounds". How do I move them to "shared backgrounds" so that everyone at my school can use them?

Probably it would be best just to find the folder on your computer where the My Backgrounds are located and copy the folder and files into the Shared Backgrounds folder via the Windows interface.

Alternatively, you could download the Resource Pack again and reinstall it, this time into the Shared Backgrounds. You would need to launch the Resource Manager to do this after you download it.

If it is just 1 or 2 backgrounds, you could open a background from 'My Backgrounds', click on 'Shared Backgrounds', right click on the page, click on 'Add to library', 'Background'. (Lisa's way is better if you have a lot of backgrounds to copy over!) :)
