action objects - the red rectangles

I attach a blockbusters style flipchart where action objects have been placed over each number on the blockbusters layout. The idea is that the link should take us to another page in the flipchart. However the links don't work - I'm using version 3. I've checked and the only light I can shed on the problem is that page links can't be created using the red action object. Can anyone help?

Your links work for me. (Using 3.0 for Mac)
If these are "invisible" objects, check to see if you have ticked "prevent the action when object is hidden"
Or that actions are disabled.
Or if you are in design mode.

Very odd! I have had a quick play but it doesnt make sense, it should work. The only way around it would be to snap shot each tile and put an action on the snapshot. (Although you had probably already thought of that!)

I have done that for tile 1 and it seems to work.

Thanks for your efforts. I have checked all the possibilities! Interesting that you found it works on a Mac Lisa. I'm using a PC.

The boxes are red. But I got a colleague to test it on her Mac and it works fine so it must be a Mac/PC incompatibility:mad: Thanks for your help though.
