I have made an multi page flipchart of identification questions. I used the “Mt Rushmore” temple to jazz it up. This Temple works well for a single page flipchart, but not for a multi page flipchart. Even though I did select the option in the Active vote to automatically advance once all votes are recorded it will not advance. When I click to advance to the next page a pop up message appears stating that I need to stop active vote. What am I doing wrong? What I want to do is to wait until the end of the quiz review and view/record the results. ????

Are you using Mac or PC? Version 2.5 or 3?

Look under the "menu" and see if you see settings or preferences. From there you should see Activote settings.

There are three things to consider there:

Apply timeout to Prepared questions. (Set the time)
Take user's first answer only. (if you want this, then the question will timeout when everyone has voted once. Otherwise you will wait until the entire time lapses)
Automatic page advance.
See what your settings are there.

Also, you may want to check out this video in Curriculum Corner which uses the vote timer to automatically advance to the next question.

Thanks Lisa[clap]

I'm not at my own computer right now, another class has my room during 3rd period. However, I did make a quick 2-page flipchart and it did anvance to the next page, and choose the demo mode. Now, will I be able to view the results?

Let me think. I recall when I used the advance page, I had to return to the last page and right click on it to show the results. It may work differently if you fiddle with the settings though.

I don't have access to a set of votes myself today.
