Does anyone know if the recognition tool is an additonal piece of software as my software is telling me it is not available. Also, when I plug my board into my computer the water mark is still visible. I thought it should go away automatically. Any ideas?

welcome to the forum.

The handwriting recognition is part of Activ Studio.
But it will work only when the board is connect to the computer and the computer recognizes the board.
When all of this happens, not only will your watermark be gone, but also your handwriting recognition will work.

Please double click on the Activ driver in the bottom right tray of your computer and configure the correct serial port or USB for this to happen.
