Can anyone help me?
In AS2 when viewing a flipcart, the flipchart toolbar (the one that moves pages forward /backward) sat on top of the flipchart, but in AS3 I cannot get a full screen, because there is a grey slider bar at the side, which the toolbar sits in. Can this be altered so I can see a full screen flipchart? Does that make sense - what I'm asking? have looked in Studio Settings, but cannot find anything appropriate.
Many thanks
Hi Cropps,
It may be that the flipchart was made on a computer using a different screen size. In order to see the whole page on your screen you will need to use the page scale tool. (Sorry - I am an AP user and don't know where you would find it in AS)

Thanks Lou - I have been trying different combinations on Studio Settings to no avail - I've included a flipchart (which includes a screenshot) of the problem I'm facing.
Thanks again

Thanks Dan - should have tried the forum 3 days ago. You would have thought Promethean would have stuck this option under 'Studio Settings'?

I have the 'Standard Activ Studio' option selected but STILL get that blasted scroll bar - have tried a number of combinations (Screen Size, or 1024 x 768) or simply clicking the Show Flipchart icon but can't get rid of it.
Anyone else having this problem with AS3?

Have you try to go to Dashboard, Configure, Load/Save Profile:, Select from installed Profiles, Intermediate?

You get the scrollbar because you have chosen 1024x768 flipchart size. Because you are showing the thin title bar at the top of the screen the scroll bar appears. if you make a custom size flipchart, say 1024x730 I bet the scroll bar won't appear. I can't try this out because I have a widescreen laptop.

The way to ensure the flipchart scroll bar is hidden:
1) Ensure you are using the flipchart style: 'Standard Activstudio'
2) In Settings --> Flipchart, tick the checkbox: 'Hide caption bar when maximised'
Then, any 'Screen Size' flipchart will appear without the flipchart scroll bar.
NB. This setting only applies to the 'Standard Activstudio' style.

Thanks Nigel - that did the trick.
Now, where's the icon for 'pathetically grateful'....

OK – with the caption bar hidden, I went into Design Mode (not something I do often..) but when I went to go back into presentation mode Activstudio crashed. Tried it out with different flipcharts with the same result.
Re-started my laptop, updated the software, had a cup of coffee – all the usual trouble-shooting stuff.
When I went back into the Settings and unselected “Hide caption bar when maximised” the problem seemed to disappear.
Has anyone else experienced this?
