Resource Library

I have downloaded resource packs using the resource manager. When finished I reindexed. Now when I open the Resource Library and try to search for an item I get an error message that states the item has not been quick indexed. Any suggestions?

Hmmm. Have you quit and restarted the application? Sometimes, the new resource packs don't show up in the resource window until I re-start. Just an idea.

yes, tried that and shut down the computer. Neither worked.

I assume you're using a PC, right?

The quick index is shipped out with the current set of resources, thus any new resources added, will not be in the quick index. As you have re-indexed your new resources you will be able to search for them but not a Quick Search.+wave+

All resources have been reindexed and we have actually uninstalled and reinstalled the software. It will not allow a search of any items in the resource library.

Make sure that you didn't accidently change the "Look in the following location" drop-down box to My Activstudio instead of Shared Activstudio.
