linking to a file

Hi all,
I'm trying to create a flipchart for handwriting - I'd like to have an introductory activity on the chart, then link to a preprepared 2handwrite file. I've gone right click>insert>other file link adn browsed to the file. I get the icon or text on the screen - but when i click on it, the flipchart goes away but the program doesn't appear.
Any ideas?:confused:

Could be any number of things.:confused: Try these two:
When linking to the file, click on the embed file in flipchart tick box.
Does the file you are linking to, run when you double-click it?
