Creating backgrounds

Greetings-
I am a new user of Activstudio but a power-user of PowerPoint. I LOVE my new board and the possibilities. In my previous use of PP, I would create cute templates using clip art and scrapbooking graphic sets that I purchase from various online sites. I did add some of the scrapbook paper jpgs to my background library, but I am running into difficulties.
If anyone has had success with creating their own backgrounds for flipcharts, I'd appreciate any suggestions-

And try downloading some of the Resource Packs. Many of them include backgrounds!

Among them you will find:
Birthday Backgrounds
Fun Backgrounds
Autumn/Fall Backgrounds
Winter BackgroundsPlus the ones in the background library with Activstudio or Activprimary.
