For several years I've used the many marvellous editions of Activ Studio. Having switched key stages I'm now obliged to use ActivPrimary at my school.
I'm missing how you can easily have backgrounds in text boxes, like you can with ActivStudio.
Also, would anyone else like a 0-9 dice? The new number generators are great, but it would be even better to model similar to what the kids will use.
Cheers,
David

To get a coloured background on your text object, double click on the text to get the Object Edit Toolbox. Open Properties > Appearance and check background then choose your colour. You can even put an outline around the text object.

I would like a dice 1-9 and also a 1 -20 that looks similar to the childrens. I think that would be great!:)

Thank you for sharing. You won't believe what I had to go through to create a text box with an outline and a colored background (shapes, layers, grouping)!
This will be a true time-saver.

You could use the ones in the attached flipchart - drag them into your library when in design mode.
It's quite hard to replicate the look and feel of real dice and still keep a clear screen for reading the number. These examples are geared to pupils clearly seing the number rather than a real simulation of dice rolling, but mathematically they give you a sound simulation.
BTW -if the numbers don't display properly make sure you upgrade to the latest Flash player from Adobe.
