Hyperlinking oddity

I have suddenly had a strange thing happening after doing this for ages.....

I am using AP 3.0.57

I want to link to a website from a flipchart page
I usually copy an image from the website
and then hyperlink it by going

properties
actions
open embedded document or file
set
paste link


this has worked fine in the past
now - the link seems to work once
and then be erased from the object

any idea what is going on here?

Are you in design mode when you try to use the link? I think there is an updated version (in the US) because I have verson 3.0.93. Check your support tab to see if you have the latest version.

It is possible I had design mode switched on - stupid, because I have done this loads of times.

Have upgraded to 3.0.71 which seems latest available here in UK

um - is the only "feature" of this latest version making me click "I agree" (to something) every time I use it at home on my laptop to make a flipchart to use in school?
