Note pad

PreviousIy, I used Activstudio 2.5 and constantly used a tool from the tool bar which was a note pad. This gave me a white are and which I could use the pen and write. Now I have 3.0 and that icon is no longer in the tolbar. Can I add that feature back and where can I find it?:confused:

The tool you are referring to is actually the windows notepad application. Just go into desktop mode, find the windows notepad icon and drag it on to the third column of your activstudio toolbar. I'm not sure why on version 3 it isn't there anymore :confused:

I am using version 3.6 and am also wanting to use the note pad. I have dragged the Windows notepad onto the shortcut toolbar, but I can't write on it with the pen. I can type on it, but it still doesn't word like the old notepad did.
Is there an alternative solution?

I really love the forum. I can usually find the answer to most of my questions. Usually I learn more than I originally started out to learn.
