I found the quote below on the "Your Top Teaching Tips" section but thought that I would post it here given that it is a Feature Request of sorts.

The quote comes from Dennis, user name dentje, from the Sociedade de Cultura Inglesa, Curitiba, Brazil

I really want to get students using the viewer, but I think there is a side issue, which I have contacted support about. I don't think I would recommend encouraging younger students to start entering their details on websites, and this is what the Promethean download page asks them to do before they can download it.

I would much prefer to be able to distribute the viewer to them through the school, but there is no provision for this. (btw- I don't wish to distribute the student edition to them, just the viewer)

The Student Edition (SE) is provided on Activstudio CDs specifically so that schools can distribute it.

Is there any particular reason why you want to use Viewer instead of the SE version provided for this?

SE has additional options such as Save and Print as well as cut and paste options so flipcharts can be used for a wider range of student activities and homework.

The Save and Print options for a flipchart can also be managed by Activstudio using the "publish' option if they need to be disabled.

NOTE: If you only want the students to view a static presentation - than the flipcharts can be exported from Activstudio as FLASH/HTML,Word/PDF, etc. And there is an option to upload a flipchart expert dircetly to a website using a built in FTP client in the Export Wizard for online viewing.
