Just an FYI, 4 new Activtips were posted a few days ago. You can view them on Promethean Planet>Professional Development>Activtips, or if you have subscribed to the podcast through iTunes, they should have updated automatically. [clap]
These four Activtips cover;
How to Use Restrictors – Shows you how to created restricted motion boxes, as seen in the Teacher Feature Flipchart by Brian See
How to customize your toolbar
How to arranging windows and how to use it
How you can lock objects on the page
As always your comments are welcome.
I am also looking for more ideas. You can request an idea on the Activtip page on Promethean Planet. I would like to create some Activtips using Activprimary, but I am struggling for ideas, so any thoughts you have would be greatly appricated!
Enjoy!

Hi Scott,
Just to say I love the Activtips [clap]but would love to see them without having to go to the US site. Could a link be put in the Professional Dev. section of the UK site?
Regards AP because the software has become so similar over the last year most of the tips relate to both types of software.

Kathy & Caryn,
Very glad to hear that you are enjoying the Activtips!
Caryn - What's wrong with coming over to our side of the pond to see the tips? :)
I have sent this thread to the person in charge of the US Site, and we'll see what we can do. Maybe we need to find someone to start making Activtips on the UK side! [clap]
Finally, in response to your AP comments. I agree, that all the tips shown on AS can be done on AP. But sometimes people don't always know that, and they would like to see AP here and there.

Hi there...
Scott, can't say enough good about your Activtips! I showed them to new users yesterday and they were wowed by them. I love the way your sense of humor and "humanness" comes through. You take some sophisticated actions and make them fun. Keep up the good work.

Kathy - Thanks for the kind words. I'm happy that my humor and candour comes through on the tips. When I go back and listen to some of the first ones I made, I notice how robotic I sound. I like to think that in real-life I’m not a bore, so I wanted to add some humor to the tips. It’s tough, because when I am presenting in front of a group, I can play off the crowd. It is not so easy to judge what people will smile at when I am alone in a room with headphones on. So I’m happy to hear that it is coming across!
Caryn – You know the way to my heart – making me more famous! Beckman came here, so I guess I should go over there!
Seriously, I have passed on the word to the head of the US Planet site. We’ll see what happens.
Thanks all for the support.
