One of the greatest strengths of using an iwb, and AP of course {}, is allowing the teacher to model concepts for the children. Children will always need and continue to need "hands on" experience, but sometimes, particularly with very young children it is not always easy to explain what the activity is. If the children then spend the lesson exploring a concept the wrong way, the opportunity is lost. :(
I have just seen this flipchart submitted within the Resources section
http://www.prometheanplanet.com/uk/server/show/ConResource.11234
which offers an opportunity for both modelling from a teaching perspective, but also for a small group, or pairs of children to work at the board.
It is using pegboards... this is such a simple but effective use of the software to totally emulate the whole pegboard experience! Really great - the simple ideas are always the best! [clap]
Maybe we could try and find some more good modelling examples?
