Hi all,
I've found this to be a really useful resource for organising groups and activities.
1) Type the name of every person in your class on to a flipchart (just scattered randomly about the page - a seperate text box for each name.
2) Drag the arrow tool over all the names to select them, then group them.
3) Drag the group into My Collections.

Whenever you need to put children in groups, pairs etc, just drag it out of My Collections and ungroup the names.

Cheers
Wendy (now using my middle name - Rosie - so I might forget and sign myself as such!)

Useful tip Rosie!
The My Collections folder has been designed so that it may contain groups of very mixed objects - Text, image and annotation objects may all be placed in My collections

This is a great idea.
So here's a forum feature request :-) I know I can copy paste, but if there was a button on the forum that would let me "email this post" that would be neat. I'd share it quickly!

Hi bpeskin,

I am sure that used to be an option on the forum. You could send the post to a friend very easily...can't remember if there was a special icon or not now though!

Ok, its not the way I remember it, however you can send this page to anyone by going up to the Thread tools tab at the beginning of the post. Clcik on the down arrow and you then have the option to email the page.
