I am trying to print each page with notes at the bottom. It doesn't seem to be possible with Promethean. Why not???

If I print the notes only - is there a way to make the slide number print right before each pages notes, otherwise it is really difficult to keep up with which page the notes go with

I see your point, so will suggest it as an enhancement request +wave+

I am having problems using cut and paste from word into page notes. I have tried the control C and then control V and cut and right click to paste and nothing shows in the page notes. I have tried both in and out of design mode. I have pasted to the flip page and tried to drag as well as copy/paste from the flip page. I have MS Word enabled in my link files. Any ideas on what is the problem. I use V3 on a PC.

I've tried it on my lap top without a problem using both the keyboard shortcuts and the icons in Word and the right click > paste option. Is the font colour in Page Notes set to white? the ther option is tot try copying and pasting form Notepad. Sorry I'm not being very helpful really.

No the font color is black. Still nothing when I try to cut and paste from Word but I can from notepad. There has to be a setting somewhere that is off. Any more ideas? I need to cut and paste standards onto page notes and am going crazy trying to figure this out. I do have Word checked in link file hosting...

This is a strange one, it doesn't work for me either, :( but I have seen with my own eyes that it works for David as his post states above .
We need someone technical to look at this.

Thanks for the reply. It worked like a dream from my desktop! Just not from the laptop. Could the profile selected have anything to do with this?

It doesn't sound like a profile thing

I've set my profile to Advanced so I don't think it's a profile thing either. After Pete came to see me copy and paste, we had a quick check around the Training Department, and some machines could copy and paste, and others couldn't and that was a mixture of lap tops and desk tops! So the mystery deepens:eek:

Hi All,

I can paste into Page Notes in Studio, but not in Primary! Odd or what?

I am having no problems pasting into AP using Ctrl C/ Ctrl V or by the right click route.

I am posting this just in case it will help to solve the problem. In both Primary and Studio, when you copy to your Office clipboard and then paste in the origional Word doc once, THEN come to your flip page notes and paste... it works. So, I would guess it has something to do with the clipboard association.
Added note: I can copy and paste from my desktop in both Primary and Studio. It is the laptop that can not and they both have Office 2003.

No, that doesn't even work for me. I can copy from Word, paste back into Word, paste the same clipboard contents on to the flipchart page, but no  it won't paste into page notes even though Paste on the right click is in darkened font (not greyed out)

Just tried again and it worked for me that way. I did have my clipboard open and pasted back into word using the clipboard not control v or paste icon. HMMMM

Hi Everyone,

we have this raised as an issue to be fixed in a future release of the software.
