Upgrading V2 to V3?

Hello there...

I excitedly downloaded the V3 files yesterday and installed them today.
Got out my V2 installation CD to input the serial number but wasn't able to do so....

The Serial number I have has 4 parts to it and AP3 expects a 5 part Serial.

So.. do we have to buy V3 for our machines or is it an upgrade to V2?

Activprimary version 3 for the Mac hasn't been released yet. I presume, therefore, you've downloaded the Windows version, which could have caused the confusion.

Note, however, that you don't need to buy the software again when it is released, which should be quite soon (but can't promise dates!)

Sorry to put a dampner on your enthusiasm, but the Mac version 3 is in the pipeline and should be out soon....!

It seems that Primary for Mac HAS been released on the US site. See front page of Promethean Planet (US)

No, it's definitely out!
Runs just fine but I need to put my serial No. in asit is limited to 3 uses.

Just checked...

The software is "being released" as we speak but it hasn't actually "been released" (if that makes any sense). The process was started (the updating of websites etc) but has been affected by illness.

This all should be solved next week when the release is finalised and officially announced

No... it's not just on the US site...
I found t and downloaded it from http://www.prometheanworld.com/uk/
Still no luck with the serial number though...

I too have eagerly and patiently downloaded V. 3 only to discover the same password problem: mine has 4 sections and the new version needs 5. Whatsupwithat?
Any help would be REALLY appreciated. I am dying to get into this new version.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:(

We are currently working to resolve this situation - in the meantime the MAC V3 web downloads have been pulled from the websites.

We expect these will be fixed and back online by the middle of the week.:)
