What's a good demo for administrators?

I am currently preparing a presentation to promote the usage of Digital Whiteboards to school administrators in grades K-12. What examples could I use to fully demonstrate the value of a Digital Whiteboard in a classroom?

Hi AP,

Welcome to the forum! I would suggest that you teach a lesson to the administrators and demonstrate as much functionality of the software (where it fits) as you can while teaching the lesson. There are so many outstanding flipcharts on Planet that you could simply download some and use one already created. I think the realization of the power of this learning tool in the hands of a great teacher is greater in the context of a lesson, not a demo.

Hi Char,

When I wrote demo, I was definitely thinking of presenting the information in the context of a lesson. My problem is that I do not currently have access to a Promethean board or software; getting this technology into some of the classrooms is definitely one my goals. Currently, I have no idea how to read the flipchart files that have been contributed by the community. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

You could download the free Activflipchart Viewer software which will enable you to view flipcharts.

Yes, as Hilary said, you can download the viewer and then start downloading and looking at various lessons. Go to featured flipcharts and look at some in each subject area!
