Brian See, a frequent poster on the Forum, was just made Teacher Feature on the US Promethean Planet. For those of you who are high school math teachers, you may want to watch his video at:

http://www.prometheanplanet.com/us/server/show/nav.008008008

His lesson is about the Pythagorean Theorem. According to his flipchart description, it has just about everything you need to teach the concept including, video, practice, and Activote assessment.

Congrats Brian! It's always fun to see the teacher behind the flipchart and in use in the classroom. Great job! [clap]

Thanks for noticing. I do try to frequent the boards more than this, but I recently had some PC problems.

It is always nice to see that people are actually see what you have done. Although the main purpose is to educate students, it still feels nice to get recognized (although I did ask if they could make me look better and they said no :D), may be available on a newer version. I do love my career and very much think that it should be a team effort which is constantly being developed. I feel the planet is a great opportunity to get views of people that are really interested in the board because they are, not because they have to be, have one, or some other political agenda or hidden reason.

I believe my Pythagorean Theorem lesson has most of the goodies and also has two charts that go along w/ it (a flowchart and AV quiz). One of my other lessons that is best developed is on slope-intercept form.

Feel free to use any of my charts and modify them as you see fit, I take it as an honor. I try to list all my charts so they may be found using bsee. Some better than others but it shows how I grew with the board in no sequential order.

PS English teachers: How do you like those smooth transitions above.
