Can't find resources!

I loaded the program and resource CD to my computer. All the images appear in the Resource Manager, but they will not show in the Resource Library. What can I do to show everything in the library?

I don't suppose by any chance that you are displaying the contents of the 'personal' resource library rather than the 'shared' resource library? Just an idea!

Also, is it possible that you need to expand the resource tree (the two up-and-down pointing triangles/arrows)? If neither of these resolves the issue my next suggestion would be to try reindexing in AResource Manager.

I was helping 2 teachers this morning who were having the same problem. We tried everything mentioned above, and finally wound up reinstalling the Activprimary_Resources_(USA)_v3.0.1_setup.exe file. We re-indexed again and all the files showed in the Activresource Manager. When we went back to the flipchart and clicked on resources and chose our category, no tree showed up. We were about to call tech support, but shutdown the laptop and restarted. When we opened AP3, everything was working correctly.

I'm having the same problems in activstudio...:(
Tried everything ( I can think of )
I've reinstalled the recources and even that won't work. If I search my windows directories I do see them but they just won't show up in the shared recources????

I had a similar problem in AP3 but discovered because I had installed the main programme to my secondary drive instead of the c drive they could not be found.!!! Problem was soved by re installing everything to the c drive.

If the Shared resources have been installed correctly they will be found at:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\ACTIV Software\ACTIVprimary3 (or 2 or Activstudio3 or 2) folder.

If yo re-install them while the software is running you will need to restart the program again for it to find them.
