Hi
I've just got a new laptop which is wide screen and now my AP3 falls off the edge of the board!! It's ok on my screen but I'm missing the lower toobox when on my IWB. Have tried adjusting the projector but it just makes it smaller but still missing lower toolbox. I'm sure there is a simple solution but I can't find it!????

Hi... you can try lowering the reolution on the laptop to 1024x768 while using the IWB. The image on the laptop may be a little strange but the image on the IWB should be ok....:)

Most laptops have the option to alter the settings for the VGA output within the display settings.
Dont worry about the lowering the resolution of your laptop screen, this can resolve the issue but may lead to a distorted picture.
Look at the properties of the graphics driver and you should be able to select the external monitor and tell it to display at 600 X 800 or 1024 X 768
The end result is your laptop screen runs at its native resolution, and anything connected to the vga socket runs at 1024 X 768. It can take a bit of trial and error but is worth the cleaner picture.

...and also remember that when you are creating new flipcharts, don't just use the default flipchart size which will be set by default at your current screen size. Choose Flipchart/New from the menu and choose 1024x768

I am having a similar issue in Activinspire, what resolution is best for the 78",87",95" boards in terms of a flipchart? The inspire software gives you options but they are all 4:3 aspect ration how can I get a 16:10 or 16:9 ration? My computer and projector are both throwing 1280 x 800 which shows up fine but cannot get a full screen flipchart I seem to be getting outside boarders.
Frustrated please help,
:(

And, it helps to connect everything (projector, board, etc) before powering up
