Editing text

Hi,

Quite often, I copy a large amount of text into AP from Word. I adjust the page length so that it is accommodated on one page.

The problem I have is editing the text at the bottom of the page, which you need to scroll down to see.

When you click on the text tool, the cursor goes to the top of the text, and the page scroll bar does not work. Using the cursor to move through the text doesn't work, neither does changing page scale.

A little puzzle for a Friday morning!

Hi Phil,

Yes this is an issue and very frustrating! :eek: Currently the only way around this is to do your editing before you put it into the flipchart page. Or you copy the bit you want to edit onto another page and then put it back.

To be honest I think it is because it was never expected that people would be so creative as to realise how effective the "world" area is [clap]

It's nice to know that the boundaries are being pushed! I've considered editing the text prior to pasting it in, but there's then the issue of line breaks etc. to consider - I like to alternate the colour of my lines to help text to be read.
