View Full Version : Flipchart Viewer vs Activstudio Student Edition

Hi all

Can someone please let me know what the difrerence is between the Flipchart viewer (v3) and the Student Edition of ActivStudio.

Also, what is the most up to date version fo the viewer?

I already did some PDFs to go with the downloads on the website for the Viewers and SE, which explain the features, so I've incorporated them into this flipchart in order to see the differences between the two side by side.
The main difference is that in SE you can save flipcharts and there are a couple of additional features too. PDF version also attached in case you don't have the software.

The latest version of SE is 3.0.31 and the latest version of the PC Activstudio Viewer is 3.0.2436

The viewers and SE are available to download from www.Prometheanworld.com and full details of licence limitations etc can be found on the download page. I encourage you to go that page and look if you require further information as it will be more helpful to you than I can be of here.

I'm investigating the Activ Studio viewer situation. I want teachers in my authority to be able to upload their flipcharts onto our VLE moodle and for students to be able to view them. For this it would seem that the students can download the viewer at home - hopefully no problem there - please let me know if there is ! But also I want to be able to install the viewer across the school network so that they can also access the flipchart in school. However the license agreement says we can not do this! Is there a way round this ? Please help!
