Hi

I had this question sent to me privately but thought I would answer it publically as it may be that someone has a better answer than me....

>>>>>I need to be able to hide the action arrow to keep students from knowing which object has a sound clip attached. Hope that makes sense. When you hover over an object with a sound attached a little curved arrow appears. The kids can tell which answer is correct by hovering and looking for the arrow. Any way to hide it? Thanks for your help!<<<<<

The only way I can think to get round this is to ensure there is a sound attached to each of the objects. You don't actually need to add a sound you could have a sound file which has nothing attached to it (ie record nothing using the sound recorder and then link to this "nothing sound") then if you attach this non sound to your wrong answers....+wave+

Thats cunning Margaret - similar to how kids work out which word goes in a cloze excercise by figuring out the size of the space.. Great solution!

By having all the objects applied with an action as you've already suggested Margaret is probably the only way to do it, but instead of having a blank sound why not have a designated correct sound - e.g. a cheer and a designated wrong sound - e.g. a plop?

Just an idea!

Perhaps you could have a word pop up as the action object: something like 'sorry!', 'oops!!', 'have another go!', or 'are you sure?', depending on the age of the pupils.
