I would like for annotations have actions attached to them in flipcharts. For example, if I want to draw something and have a sound linked to it - I currently can not because annotations are not allowed to have links with them.

Secondly, I LOVE the new feature of having the automatic spotlight, etc. set for a page on 3.0. However, I would like to be able to have a sound linked to the page so that if I want to have a song play automatically on a page, it can do it for me. The "sound off" icon in 3.0 is great by the way. [clap]
Thanks!!

Thanks for the suggestions and comments. You could in the meantime, use a camera snaphot of your annotation and link from that.

Thank you, Peter for the suggestion. I had this on the ActivStudio forum a couple weeks back as well. The only reason why the camera shot is not the ideal solution for some of the annotations I have created is because I like to be able to manipulate the images once they are made. So, for a cartoon pig that I created, I want to be able to make him frown or smile depending on the page and mood the character is in for a story. See my "Duck for President" flipchart if you want to see the kind of characters I have drawn. I usually create the cartoon image that I want without facial expressions and then I save them to my short cut tool bar. Then I can pull them out multiple times and adjust their facial expressions (or other body parts) to fit that page. Being focused on elementary students, I like having sounds to go along with characters - but really, it isn't a big deal. I have used "action objects" to create invisible boxes around my drawings in the past, which then allows the annotation to appear to have the sound (or other action) linked to it... It is just a few steps to manipulate the object if needed later: disable the action objects, move the action object, then move the annotation, etc. For younger students, it's just a few extra steps that might make it slightly confusing. However, you are right that in the mean time there are ways around it. :) Are you ever not right? :p
