Sound recorder not working

Hi, I've tried to use the Sound Recorder in AP3 today, but no dialogue box came up after I selected it. I've successfully used it before in AP3.

I just downloaded the new build at the weekend (3.0.62)

Anybody got any suggestions please?

Hi Phil,

This works fine on my computer. What exactly isn't working?

Do you mean that no box appears when you select the Sound Control button then select Sound Recorder?

Or do you mean that no Sound Controller appears when you click on a sound link.

If it is the latter, there is a setting that might have got switched off (see image).

If it's the former then I don't know... perhaps you'll have to try tech support?

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I can see the sound controller fine; it's the actual recorder which doesn't appear. I've got v3.0.62 running on two pcs and the recorder works on one, but not the other. Strange! I'll contact tech support and post anything relevant.

Problem solved! I had to Run regfiles.vbs - can be located in C:\Program Files\ACTIV Software\Activprimary3.
