Imbed flipcharts

Does anyone know how to imbed flipcharts into a Word document? I would like to create lesson plans in word with all my flipcharts ready to use. I see how you can export the flipchart into a word document, but I want the icon that I can select and open the flipchart fom word.+wave+

You wouldn't embed a flipchart into a Word document, but you can create a hyperlink within the doc that will open your flipchart when you click on it.
Right-click on the text you want to act as a link (OR select Insert Hyperlink symbol on the toolbar)
Choose where you want the link to 'jump' to - the menu option you want is Existing File or Web Page
Browse through your computer to find the file.
Select the file.
OK

Hope this helps. I use hyperlinking a LOT.

You can also use Object Embedding in Word/Office/
In Word:

Go to the Insert > Object ... Menu.

Then choose "Create from file" tab on the popup that appears.

Browse to the flipchart. Then click OK...

Just tested it and it does seem to work. Although if I select Link to file it seems to have problems.

The other method is to just make a link - but that depends on the files always being in the same place.

Yes, also important that the Pathway to the file remains correct, and that the filename is not altered too...

Easier still - simply resize Word smaller - then drag the flipchart file to the word document and it will make the link instantly!

With a dual monitor setup (search forums for that) you could have a Word document/lesson plan privately viewable on your laptop and Activstudio working on the whiteboard...
