URL as a Thumbnail in V3

Sounds easy enough... how? I need to make a URL into a thumbnail. Can't find it in V3.... :mad:????:mad:

Hi Dawson

May be an easier way - but I know that you can place your image thumbnail first - then double click it to open the image toolbar - choose properties and then click on actions - the actions dialogue then displays in the right hand column - click on the File option then the SET button Shows - Click that and type in the full URL of the web page you want to open including the http:// part - dont add anything to the parameter line then click OK and finally click OK on the properties dialogue and providing you have actions enabled on your flipchart page then your thumbnail image when clicked will open a browser window and load the web URL.

Is there an easier way to do this?

Hello,
I think you are referring to the following:
Open Activstudio's web browser. (Generally in the Power tools toolbox)
Find the website you want.
Click on the Links button in the browser. (just next to the address bar)
Select Add URL as thumbnail.

Then you can drag the thumbnail with attached link to the library - instant picture links!

I've saved images with actions/sounds linked to them but hadn't thought about saving the weblinks. I've got a whole new folder now in my personal resource library called 'Internet Links'!
