Is it possible to have an item change color once it has been selected. I have a Jeopardy game and want the dollar amounts to link to the question page and change colors to represent that the question has been used. Thank you for any ideas and suggestions!

Hi dlund100, welcome to the forum!

The short answer is yes...!

There are various ways to do this, depending on how well you know the software...

The quickest way to do this is probably just to use the Fill tool to change the colour of the item when you've finished with it...

If you want a more challenging way of doing it...

In version three you could use stacking and an action to do this.

Have your Ist Image (question not done) on top of the second image (question done).
Use the "To Back" action to send the first image to the back when you click on it, revealling the second image (which would be the "done" image).

Let us know if you want more details...!

Thank you for the ideas, but is it possible to click on the item, have it change colors and take me to another page?

I've attached the flipchart.

Thanks.

ps....I also posted under ActivVoters a question about automatically starting the voters when a page is opened. Any ideas?

Ahh..

You can only add one action to an item... you could do what you want indirectly but it would have to involve two actions attached to two parts of the original item - one to make the item change colour and another to go to the relevant page...

So ultimately it would be simpler to change the colour with the Fill tool and then use the link...

Hope that gives you some ideas at least

Perhaps someone else has different ideas...?
