when i crop an image with the square window box of the camrea tool, i get a normal image on the flipchart.

however when i crop an image with the freehand format of the camera tool, i get a pink shadow around the image on the flipchart.

anyone experience this?

When I use the freehand/point to point snap, the un-snapped area turns pink before I say where I want the image put (Current page, new page resources etc.) Onle places I don't have any pink areas. Are you saying that a pink shadow remains after this? I think the pink acts as the "Transparent" colour for the image. Try making sure that the image has the pink colour set as the transparent colour and see if that gets rid of the shadow.

Does that make any sense at all:o

Hi - I get the same problem. When I use camera -> freehand to select, as soon as I finish selecting the area I want, the rest of the SCREEN goes pink. When I paste the image into my flipchart, there is a pink background behind my freehand cut-out - it's a rectangle just big enough to underlay the image. I have discovered I can change this colour to white with the fill tool, but is it not possible to get a true freehand "cut-out" image with nothing around it?

Thanks....

I might be able to help..... the pink outline is to do with something technical which I don't understand  but the way to get rid of it I think  is:

Double click on the picture and then click on the object properties (the little red tick) then click on appearance... you will see tansparent click on it. This should give you a pick through and colour in a small square click on the small square and make sure the pick through is ticked. Sorry this is hard to explain... Try playing around with these options...... +wave+

Hope that helps!
