Just responding to a question about this on the forum, I figured I would put in the request.

Many people like the Calibration tool in the quick select side of their toolbar. But if they lose it, it is a bit tricky getting it back. (If you need help with this check out my post at http://www.prometheanplanet.com/common/html/vb_forum/showthread.php?p=18940#post18940)

Could we get the Calibration Tool added to the Toolstore? This is where most people seem to go when they want to get it back.

I second that motion. Version 3.0 made calibration even less convient, putting it on the dashboard now. I have a portable board with a portable screen. I calibrate at least 3 times a day.

If you hover and hold your pen over the Promethean man's "globe" callilbration is offered straight away....+wave+

And if you have prehistoric boards like us then you just need to minimize AS or AP and double click on the little spot on the bottom left handside of the board.

You can also right click the Driver icon at the bottom right (on PC) and choose calibrate.

Having it in the toolstore or in the quick select toobar seems sensible. In fact I am surprised it is not there already by default!

So to summartise - current options are:

1) Use it from the AS toolbar extension (you can add it again by navigating to the executable and dragging the icon)

2) Hover the pen over the light (top left) for a couple of seconds on newer boards. On older board with the black oval top left - click the little dot bottom left.

3) Right click the driver icon in the Windows taskbar (bottom right) on PCs and choose "calibrate"

4) Use the new link to the calibrate tool in the Version 3 dashboard

5) Right click the program icon (usually it is found at C:\Program Files\ACTIV Software\ACTIVdriver\Calib.exe) and choosing Send to > Desktop (create shortcut) - that will make a desktop icon you can double click to calibrate.
