Dear Friends,
We have a team of visitors coming to observe a lesson with my class tomorrow. I revised a wonderful lesson that Damian has created. I changed the skill level to suit my class needs.
Anyway, I can not get the Activote answers to stay changed. I fix them. It looks right and the next time it reverts to the old answers again.
Could someone please please please look and see what I must be missing that I need to do?
I would soooo appreciate your help!!!

Hi Cindy,

I'd suggest that in the Activote Question Settings window (Design Mode, Activ), your Labels should be a, b, & c, and your Answers should be ful, ly, and y respectively.

I hope this helps.

Thank you so much but yes,I had already done the answers as you suggested before writing for help and they did not hold. Any more suggestions please?

Thanks so much!

If I change any text on an ActiVote page, the new text is immediately available in the Settings window.

I've read on this forum recently that there's a feature on V3 that lets you 'publish' a flipchart so that people who download it can't change it - I haven't tried this myself yet, but do you think the original flipchart you're working from may be blocked in this way?

This may be rubbish... but I have had a similar scenario where I have edited an "old" question and it somehow wants to hold onto the old answer....

Try this............. Take the questions away from the pages in the way that Invinoveritas suggests but then save the flipchart with no assigned questions/answers.

Then reassign the answers and save the flipchart with another name just in case it needs fooling.... seriously, I have done things like this before +wave+

I don't want to undermine your objective of teaching, but thought you might be prepared to try anything at this late stage :)

Thanks so much everyone for your kind and helpful responses! A wonderful teacher friend at my school ended up just remaking the chart for me but made it 10 pages long instead of the original one(that had all the words hidden behind the shuttle on the one page. )
We redid each question, etc..It worked perfectly with just one word on a page!!!! Hooray! I am ready for the team of visitors and feel much less anxious. The visitors are a school board interested in purchasing Promethean Boards for their school district!
I didn't want ActiVote to give the incorrrect answers not only to the students but while being observed ( I am sure you all understand! : )
I much prefer Damian's format of the one page but this will work just fine!
The new chart is at school but I will send it again tomorrow so you all can see what I did . I added student voices to the first page which makes it extra special!
THANKS again to all who sent suggestions! I will let you all know how the visit goes!
