I've always wondered what the difference is between collections and images in the resources. Can anyone explain the logic to me?
AS3 has moved lots of what was in images to collections - why?
I'm pleased to see lots of new images, but a little disappointed that the images (now in collections) are still not easy to navigate - and some are in two places.

"Collections" can contain lots of stuff besides images. For example, you may find a theme about weather that may have weather related backgrounds, pages, images, sounds and annotations... The image folder can only contain images.

We have also attempted to categorise images on educational topics into the Collections folder and more general clipart into the Images folder

Peter,
A general comment from the teachers here - they find the resources difficult to navigate. And often can't find what they've found before. Must say I agree - unless you use them a lot they are quite frustrating - I haven't used the search in AS3 yet - hope its better than AS2. Some things are in more than one place (e.g. parts of a plant). This is one area which could be improved.
