container issues

Hi there! I was hoping to get some help. I have finally been brave enough to try my hand at version 3 and am having trouble with the return if not contained property. Please help me figure out how to reject the answers that are incorrect for the practice perimeter page. Thank you!

Hi Laura,

What a great activity you've created! The problem you're having is that you've assigned the Return if not Contained property to the container itself, when you should have assigned it to the object being contained (in your case, the perimeter answers). So, you're telling Activstudio to return the object to its original spot if it is not defined as the object to be contained for that particular shape.

So, for all of your containers (the shapes in your case), go back into the object properties and uncheck the Return if not Contained box.

Then, for each text block in the center of the page (your answers), double click, go to object properties, then containers, and check the box next to Return if not Contained.
