Hi everyone +wave+ ,
The new flipchart viewers are now on the UK website.
There is an Activprimary viewer for PC and an Activstudio viewer for PC and MAC.
I know you've all been waiting patiently for these.

This link works now.
Yeahh! The Activprimary viewer looks great! Will there be a Mac version to follow?
I have had several schools ask about pupils accessing flipcharts from home so can't wait to now direct them to the viewer! Thanks for another great addition to the Promethean family![clap]

Sorry JanP - No plans for a Activprimary MAC viewer i'm afraid.
How good is it that you have 3 different viewers to choose from though AND Activprimary and Activstudio AND you'll have Student Edition for PC soon too........? [clap]

OOPs in the excitement one of the pages was left as staged :o - actually just wanted to keep you all waiting a little while longer...:D
You are right! I have now looked at the Studio viewers as well and they are excellent as well.
[clap][clap][clap][clap][clap]Do I LOVE the AP viewer, or do I LOVE the AP viewer?[clap][clap][clap][clap][clap]
The whole interface (especially the floating toolbar with funky vacuum cleaner) is amazing.
Not a bad degree of functionality too.
One concern - (not sure if this can be addressed):
One of the points of having a viewer is so that students/parents can view flps at home - great.
One way of doing this is by downloading off the planet etc. But, the most powerful way is for them to access flps from that day's/weeks lessons - ideally through the learning platform - still great with the viewer.
However, how much better would it be if students could annotate, modify or create flps an then 're-upload' so that teachers and peers could evaluate/assess etc?
This 'wiki-ability' would provide SO much more potential.
I can understand the reasons why not, but even a simple 'save changes' feature would be such an enhancement.
Can't really knock what you've done though.[clap][clap][clap][clap][clap][clap]

Dug - the student edition is the tool for what you are suggesting - which Katherine indicated would be out soon.
Of course, got confused in all my excitement.
Thanks, Cliff.

Actually - just to be clear... .The Student Edition will be in Activstudio interface and so although they can save it they will need to use the AP viewer to view but will only be able to change with the AS SE which doesn't quite work in the way that you want it to. BUT it is the best that is on offer at the moment....+wave+
