How can I insert my student's photos into a flipchart to
use for open house. I would also like my students to write something to their parents.

From within your flipchart page go to the "Add Image Object" button on the toolbar on the edge of your flipchart page. The button looks like a happy face. In the new window choose "from disk". Find where you have stored the image on your computer, choose it and then then click the "open" button. Remember, you can resize it the same way you can any other image.

For our Back-to-School night last year we had a number of teachers try different activities with their students and parents. One was similar to what you've suggested. The teacher had the students write their names on the ACTIVboard. She then had the parents find their child's name and write back to them. The students were excited the next day and the parents had an opportunity to try the ACTIVboard.
