Can we please have filled shapes added to the shapes menu. The ability to draw a solid square/rectangle/ellipse/circle with one click and drag would be beneficial.

Do you mean creating filled shapes with the Pen Modifier tools/toolbox...?
Good idea if so...
There are alternative sources of filled shapes, however, such as the Shared Shapes section of the Resource Library,

Simon,
I was getting ready to request that the pen modifier tool have the option to draw filled shapes, but I thought I should search the forum to see if anyone else has suggested this. While it is fantastic that I can now draw outlined shapes with this tool, I'm like the character in the book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. I want more.
I know I could choose the shapes tool and put on an outline, but I would still have to drag the shape where I want it and resize.

In addition to this can someone please look at how the fill works to resolve the following;
If I pull a square out of the library and then draw an outlined shape which I want to fill in over the square, say a triangle, the colour of the square is changed rather than the triangle being filled when I use the fill tool. If the triangle is slightly off the square then two options can occur
a. If the fill button is clicked when the cursor is over the background the triangle is filled (good)
b. If the fill button is clicked when the cursor is over the square the square changes colour leaving the triangle unfilled (not good).
If I wanted to change the colour of the square I can fill it by clicking outside the triangle but on the square, so I have an option to do that.
I think what I am asking for is for the layers feature to apply to the fill tool, ie a shape drawn over an object can be filled.
Thanks.
