Hi Jemkes
I know one of our 'maths' trainers likes to add their PC's calculator to the Shortcut Bar.
To find it, from the desktop, click start>All programs>accessories>calculator.
Right-click>Copy this link to your desktop, then drag the copy of the link to your Shortcut bar in Activstudio (the Shortcut bar is the third column of icons on your Main toolbar- the one that opens and shuts). Now, you can open the calculator directly from your shortcut bar.
On the calculator itself, select View>scientific for the scientific calculator.
Hope that makes sense...

Go on to the internet and do a Google search for "Calc98". This is a free download and is fully customisable in terms of size and also contains thousands of known constants to more significant figures than you'll ever need (check out their value of pi or e). I concede that you have to minimise your flipchart to use it, but if the whole class can see what you're doing, is it not worth it?

Try a search of these forums too with the term "calculator".
There are plenty of calculators, links to calculators and ideas for using them with the Activ software.

For what appears to be the daddy of scientific calculators, you could look at http://www.answers.com/topic/virtual-ti.
(I've posted notes on running it from a server in the thread about TI-12)
Cheers,
Gerard
