I think promethean should fix the eraser in the Activ Stuido program. Don't be lazy and just dray another line as an eraser, this makes the program slow and very fustrating when trying to move things around. Also I think you should be able to put flash swf files into a flipchart.

Thats All For Now

Flash files work beautifully in a flipchart (use the search function in the Forum to see many many great uses of flash in .flp)
The eraser also has many 'special' powers because it 'hides' objects on the layer below (again search Forum this time for eraser or magnifying glass).
I think you'll find enough there to occupy you :)

Hi Matt,

There are always the undo/redo arrows you can use too if you make a mistake! Also you have the clear tool, I find that to be very handy!

I love the eraser as it is and would want it to lose its 'special powers' (well put Charlotte[clap] ). I am sure you will grow to love it!

I agree with rcmatt. I'd like a proper eraser and have mentioned this before. At the same time I dont want to lose the functionality of the current eraser becuase of it's ability to make cool see through things etc, but it's not an eraser at all is it? It's a mask.

Why cant we have an eraser that erases and a masking tool that does what the current eraser does? It becomes annoying if you erase half of something and the wnat to move the other half, you have to group it with the erased ink. Thats an extra step that isn't needed in my opinion.

what do you mean? I'm not sure you understand what we are saying, draw a circle, erase half of it then move the semi circle across the page. You end up either dragging the whole circle, or you have to marquee select the circle and the erased bit and move together, to always move them together you have to group them. When you are in the throw of a lesson these extra steps are unintuitive.
