Could you possibly add the function of converting a fill to eraser?
I put up an example (http://www.Prometheanplanet.com/common/html/vb_forum/showthread.php?p=15982#post15982) to show you what I'm referring to.
Cheers

Do you mean switch the fill tool to the eraser? You can set up two gestures - one to switch the fill tool on/off and another to switch the eraser on/off. Or you could set up a similar action on an object but you'd need two objects - one for each action.
It its a filled area you want to disappear you could give it an action to become more translucent and set a high parameter e.g. 100 or to hide. You'd need to use the undo button to restore the filled area. Hope this helps.

No. What I meant is: After filling a shape for instance...
it's easier to show, so I made an example

I think the reason you want to do this.... but you have a very rich grasp of the action properties - so can only dare to suggest ;) You want to be able to cleanly move an erased object which when you do it with the eraser it is a bit hit and miss??
When the whole business of the eraser being used as a magnifier was first played around with this was a challenge. I don't think you can do this because of the properties of the eraser object.
Perhaps another way of doing it would be to incrementally make an object appear? So effectively moving it but actually making it appear. Starting to feel uncomfortable as I think I am out of my depth! ????
The other way would be to ensure that your eraser object is created in one movement and then it is less likely to distort when you move it.... again maybe out of my depth here
If perhaps you explain your rationale or objective someone may be able to come up with a suggestion which is less messy+wave+

The only thing I can suggest is you add an action to the fill to either make it translucent or to hide. Moving it is difficult because only one action can be attached to an object. Sorry I can't be more helpful but I think what you're wanting is impossible.

I believe what is being asked for is an ability to turn any object into and eraser (or mask) object - effectively making things like magic magnifying glass is one click.... e.g. "Convert to mask/eraser"
It is a feature of some art packages.
Tricks could include taking some text and making that into a magic eraser enabling one to contextualise an underlying image with a 'see through' word. Or using any of the regular shapes to make a custom mask that would conform with geometric backgrounds, etc.
The idea has been noted

I realise this is very specific, relating directly to your example, but shouldn't we be using be using flash for what it is good at? http://www.astro.virginia.edu/class/majewski/astr130/LECTURES/LECTURE7/MoonPhase.swf
The swf may not be downloadable but the video capture facility in Activ will record this and allow it to be embedded in a file.

The whole page is a swf, so just go to File> save page as....

Yes, that's exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks.
