Howdy, bit of an obvious question alert...How do I get/Can I get fancy page transitions using ActivPrimary on a Hitachi Starboard?

Hi Helen
As long as it's version 2.5 or higher you can right click over the page turning buttons and the page transition menu popup will appear... you can then choose from a selection of transitions on the dropdown and slow down the page effect using the slider bar... enjoy...
Kindest regards

Hi Helen,
If you have any feedback it would be good to have!
We have been amazed by the response we have recently had regarding the offer we made of £49 for the first user in a school not currently using Activboards. In a way your school was one of our "guinea pigs" it would be good to hear your views.... if you felt able!! +wave+

Hello Margaret,
Sorry for delay. I think I can speak for the whole school when I say that ActivPrimary has had a pretty revolutionary impact on our IWB use. The main reason is that I feel, with Promethean, we have finally become part of an active IWB community - we're not the alsorans any more. Was getting tired of being on courses and hearing people say "Oh sorry, you can only get that on Promethan boards."! So aside form the obvious technical benefits, I'm very much enjoying using sites like this!
A quick question - can you really convert PowerPoint to flipcharts automatically?! Will wonders ever cease?!

Helen,
If you open V3... you will need to download it from here (http://www.prometheanworld.com/uk/server/show/nav.2807) it is a large download!! When you first open V3 one of the options is to choose Powerpoint Converter. If you click on this and then navigate to your Powerpoint it will then ask you to save your new file and it will then give it a .flp extension and away you go....
Hope this helps.....
