There's been a discussion in the Activote forum on using Activote for formative assessment to help students articulate their reasoning for giving a particular answer.

Under Activities there is the Dominoes game. By matching dominoes where the wording may not be exact, e.g. in Geography a student may match Velocity and Erosion, and then the student explains why she's linked these.

The Activity Wizard allows you to set up your won game very easily

I hope I'm making sense :o .

I really love the idea of the dominoes game - but i find the text comes out too small to be an effective learning tool for the whole class - larger squares would make it more accessable. Is there any way of altering the text size?

Not that I can see so I'll post it in the feature Request Forum!
